For you it's as easy as selecting the file, entering the password, selecting the output destination, and pressing a button to create a self-extracting and self-decrypting executable. For the recipient, it's as easy as entering the password, pressing the Open button, and the the application automatically opens up in the appropriate program (if you sent a Microsoft Word document and the user types the right password then the document will automatically open up in Microsoft Word).
